ABOUT BRAD
I am a husband, father, technology builder, former first responder, business owner, and lifelong hands-on learner. I grew up in Central New York and now live in Valdosta, Georgia. Technology has been a constant thread through my career, but so have public service, communications, problem solving, and building things that people can actually use.
My professional path has been experience-driven rather than degree-driven. I started building technical depth early, continued through vocational technology education and professional training, and kept learning through real systems, real outages, real users, real customers, and increasingly complex operating responsibility.
EDUCATION & TECHNICAL FORMATION

Attended vocational technology training as part of regular high-school coursework, gaining specialized technology education and early professional certifications while building broad experience across Linux, Windows, macOS, and server administration.
Continuous learning through vendor documentation, professional training, hands-on labs, production systems, incident response, engineering projects, software development, and operating real infrastructure.
I do not hold a traditional four-year college degree. My education came through high school, vocational technology training, early professional certifications, continuing technical study, and nearly three decades of hands-on work. I believe formal education has value; I also believe demonstrated competence, judgment, and the ability to keep learning matter enormously in technology leadership.

Licensed amateur-radio activity, antennas, radio systems, propagation, communications, and the technical side of RF infrastructure.
Weather observation, satellite data reception, GOES/HRIT-style workflows, forecasting data, and public weather communication.
Aircraft tracking, ADS-B reception, SDR workflows, receiver software, mapping, and aviation-data systems.
Designing, printing, testing, and refining practical parts and enclosures, with an emphasis on solving real problems rather than decorative output.
Radio automation, streaming, station imaging, audio routing, distributed playout, synchronization, and broadcast continuity.
Networking, cameras, sensors, automation, infrastructure, weather systems, communications, and self-sufficiency projects around Gigabyte Grove.
HOW IT CONNECTS
The hobbies may look unrelated on paper, but they reinforce the same habits I use professionally: signal analysis, systems thinking, experimentation, automation, fabrication, communications, documentation, resilience, and the willingness to learn how something actually works instead of treating it as a black box.
